Style spotlight: shoes from zara
In the newest and first edition of the Style Spotlight on The Posh Report we are talking about the shoe section at Zara. In the past year I have discovered the highly coveted shoes from the shoe section at Zara, and let me tell you, I am never going back. Once you discover the StyleBook I created with all my favourite styles from Zara for the summer season, you won’t go back either. StyleBook Linked Down Below.
As a personal stylist I try to always try to add some colour and pop to my clients outfits when I can. One of my favourite ways to do this is by using shoes to accessorize. Zara has the perfect shoes to accessorize with that are still comfortable, affordable and super cute. So let’s go through it.
Comfort
As a personal stylist I am on my feet, walking around malls and going to client meetings 80% of my days. I consistently need to show up in an outfit that portrays how I carry myself and my business. The majority of the time this means I am going to choose heels over a casual loafer or a ballet flat. I have 5 or 6 pairs of Zara heels, and most of them are kitten heels which means the heel is smaller than the traditional heel. These heels are so comfortable I have never had a problem walking in them for 8+ hours. This is a huge thing to consider when buying heels from a store that doesn’t place a sole focus on shoes (see what I did there.) Because if a pair of shoes is not comfortable they are going to sit in your closet and that is a waste of a shoe and a waste of money. I find that the shoes at Zara are true to size unless the website states otherwise. If I was going to rate the comfort of Zara shoes out of 10 I would give them a 10. Zara is by far my favourite place to get my heels for business & every day life.
Affordability
Being a personal stylist, I shop A LOT. I am constantly on websites, in stores, searching for products for clients and even for myself. With that being said I know that quality shoes normally mean a high price tag. The average cost for a pair of shoes at stores like Steve Madden, Dolce Vita, and Aldo is $120. That can be a lot of money to spend on a pair of shoes, let alone a pair of heels. I find most of my clients don’t own heels or loafers or a flat rather they own versatile shoes like sneakers and runners (yes these are different). So when a client goes to buy a pair of shoes that isn’t a runner or a sneaker they get caught up in the idea that the shoe they are buying isn’t going to be worn as much as their versatile sneaker is. That can be a road block. Zara shoes range between $35 and $100 for all different styles. The average price for a pair of heels is $65. That means you can basically get 2 pairs for the price of 1 at one of the other stores. It’s not just girl math, it’s real math. Then to make it even better you don’t even have to make the hard decision of which shoe to buy because you can just buy them both.
aesthetics
One thing about Zara shoes is that they are adorable. They have the best designs that are unique and chic. I’ve decided that I’m not going to word vomit about how cute the shoes are I’m just going to show you the StyleBook I created with my favourite pairs of heels and sandals from Zara for the summer season.
